Guitar Hero: On Tour

A new Guitar Hero is being worked on for the Nintendo DS. Here is a pretty cool prototype for what it could possibly be since its not likely you'll be carrying a mini guitar with you... haha

Yellow, Green, Orange w/ Bling, Scraper Bikes Is On The Scene

"these have to be the most productive people in society"

Nike SB P-Rod Hi

I found the high tops I want! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Dropping this August

Best. Rap. Battle. EVER!

"See Im the best mang, I deed it..."

Where do I start with this video?!?! LOL.

1. Not only does the host suck, but I think I read off the teleprompter at Lincoln Elementary in our tv studio better than him when I was 8.
2. Why was the host feeling up the judge at the beginning? hahaha.
3. Mad props to the two contestants tho -- THAT WAS HOT!!!
4. The track -- EVEN HOTTER!!!
5. Rap Battle First -- when the track kicks in, both contestants cant help but start dancing...
6. Eli freezing up makes Eminem look like a star on his first battle in 8 Mile!
7. Top of the line camera work
8. "Look at this dude he need to stay in the shade, aint no wonder why he came out, he already in the gay parade"
9. Eli tries to pick something out of his teeth (or something) during his rap

I can only imagine how hard it would be to try and do a rap battle with a 5th grade education like these kids...

Jamie Lidell

Heard this song today. Never heard of Jamie Lidell but I'm looking at his discography now and I guess he has 5 cds. Going to see if I can find any of them for d/l and I'll let you all know if he's any good. Initially sounds like Maroon 5 meets Ray Charles... (I'm usually horrible at these, and I couldn't decide if Ray was right -- someone let me know if I'm crazy or a better combo to describe his sound...)

Clutchy Hopkins

Of all the music I listen to, 'Walking Backwards' by Clutchy Hopkins is probably the most played cd on my Ipod. It's got a jazzy hip hop sound, and for me, it's perfect for listening to while reading or studying. There's only one track off his cd with lyrics, the rest are just instrumentals. The only 3 things better than his music are his beard, the mystery surrounding who he is, and the fact that he did a cd with MF Doom.

two of my favorite songs from Walking Backwards

Stuff White People Like

This is a really cool blog I found a while back. Basically the title explains everything, but you should check out the list and read a few of the postings. I would recommend the one on assists. I have to agree with most of the reasonings and its pretty funny.

Nike Air Tech Challenge II

This is a new colorway for the Nike Air Tech Challenge II. Super retro, and I approve...

Universal Mind Control

New Common song featuring Pharrell. I kinda like this song -- just got it today and need a few more listens though...

Some stupid radio/DJ talks over some of the track but its all I could find for now...

Say Goodbye To Love Remix

So Lupe just did a remix to my favorite Kenna joint - Say Goodbye To Love. A little disappointed with his verse though. His new style is starting to annoy me... Listen for yourself.

MSU vs UNC - Basketbowl II

vs

Just found out today that MSU plays UNC in the Big 10 / ACC Challenge this year. The game is going to be at Ford Field in Detroit on Dec 3rd -- which means I wont be back in time to go to it!!! (Hopefully I'll get the watch it over in Sydney at least...) Will the attendance record be broken? Last time MSU played Kentucky there they set the record for the largest crowd in basketball history (78,129) in the initial Basketbowl. Hopefully this time MSU will be able to hold it down at home...

Fact: Naledge is better than 95% of MCs

For those of you who don't know, or listen to good hip hop, Naledge is 1/2 of the duo that makes up Kidz In The Hall. Here's some new freestyle (actually, I hate when tracks are titled "freestyle" when we all know damn well its not a true freestyle...) thats pretty good. Check it out...

I'm trying to figure out how to stream music on this page, until then, you'll be directed to another page to listen to files... it sucks, i know. but check it out: http://boxstr.com/files/2120262_suysp/naledge_freestyle.mp3

PS - I love black people who dress white and rap, lol

"Im a mother fucker like im lookin to find me Ms Stiffler"

Gas Sucks!

Im riding my bike every chance I get to instead of driving this summer. Its going to cost me like $75 to fill my tank at these prices. DAMN!

Everybody Nose

This song isn't (that) new, but the video was released this week. This song has motivated me (as if I even needed it...) to never date a coke head whore. They busted! Comb your hair girl! Check it out...

BrickGun

"I really want the rocket launcher but I'm still too young"

"Each model is life-sized, with accurate dimensions and details. They feature functioning mechanics such as triggers, hammers, slides, safeties and magazines so they not only look like the real thing, they work like the real thing as well."

I want my kids to play with these Legos one day... Actually, I want to play with them myself right now! And then I would take them to school and show everyone!

you can see more about them at this link: http://www.brickgun.com/

Say Goodbye To Love

This isn't new at all, but this has been my favorite Kenna song ever since I first started listening to him. I just found this so that's why I'm posting it. Chad Hugo produces like all his stuff and plays for him in the performance. Oh, and you might recognize the drummer too...

BOO Lupe Fiasco!

It first started when Lupe did a song with Snoop Dogg on The Cool. I have Snoop's music, but lets face it, he's bad. He raps about the same thing in every song he puts out -- smoking weed, spelling his name, and using words that end is izzle. The only reason he's been able to stay in the rap game nowadays is the fact that Pharrell/The Neptunes are on every song he puts out... (Beautiful, Drop It Like Its Hot, From Tha Chuuuch To Da Palace, etc).

When Lupe first came out, he was all about being some nerdy, skateboarding, lyrical genius who hated people who glorified violence, drugs, and degrading women. He rapped about Nintendo DS's, old school video games, robots and other randomly awesome stuff! Now he's doing songs with Snoop? Superstar remix with Jeezy and T.I!?! and now a new song with Bun B? and the 'Hip Hop Saved My Life' video with Paul Wall and Slim Thug in it? and the song 'Gold Watch' is all about HELLA expensive, exclusive clothing that I cant afford nor find in America, and Goyard trunks and all this other stuff?

WTF!

Bring back my Lupe that was my favorite artist, and not one thats all about everything I hate in Rap/Hip-Hop today!

if you want it, the new Bun B and Lupe song, don't know if I'll be able to stand it tho...

Lollipop Remix

About 2 weeks ago I heard a clip of this song in the background of a video I was watchin where Kanye played Jonah Hill in Connect 4... lol. I was already upset at Kanye for using the (T-Pain) auto-tuner / voice vocoder again (first he did it on the new Jeezy song, who I hate, which makes the song suck even more, and then I swear there was another song he used it on and now that I'm complaining about it I cant find it... ) anyways -- BOOOOOOOOOOOO Kanye! I like the verse tho, just wish he didnt use that lame vocoder. Not a big Wayne fan but this is okay...

listen to it streaming at Kanye's blog:

New Emerica Shoes

I like these shoes. Throw some white laces on the blue guys and I'd take em. Like the white ones as is tho.

Talib Kweli feat Chester French: Fall Back

I really hope Chester French makes it big once their first cd drops. Their signed to Star Trak (Pharrell's label for those of you who don't know) and if Pharrell thinks their going to be big I believe it. I listened to a few of their songs off their Myspace and thought they were pretty cool a long time ago. Then when I went to the N.E.R.D concert in Indy about 2 months ago they started setting up and I wasn't sure if it was them or not... and it actually ended up being them and they opened. They're sounded pretty good, but I wish I would have caught one of their new singles they recorded and supposedly just got in that day (he threw them out like frisbees and one hit my hand but I couldn't catch it). The case for them looked like giant condoms... haha. Anyways, check out http://www.myspace.com/chesterfrench for some of their songs. I like 'She Loves Everybody' the most.

Ok, now to the reason this post started. I found a new Talib Kweli song featuring them so I figured I'd share it with everyone. Download link here:

SB Dunk Lobsters

"To coincide with the upcoming Maine Lobster season that kicks off in May comes the “Lobster” Nike SB Dunk Lows. No details were overlooked with most of the exterior of the shoe resembling the armored shell of the succulent crustacean. The inside of the shoe was first mistaken for a picnic table cloth when samples shots leaked, but in fact it is to resemble the “Lobster bibs” commonly worn to keep the dripping butter off your new tie. The blue band that represents the rubber band to keep the lobsters from killing each other in the tank..."

Saw these a few weeks ago but I still laugh when I see them. The rubber band on the front makes the shoe. I can only imagine them working on these and then some smartass just stuck it on and everyone lost it. hahaha.

Bass, Bass Crazy Kickin' It

Kidz in the Hall are legit. I first heard them when I got the remix of 'Drivin' Down the Block' with the Cool Kids. I went and got their first cd a little over a week ago and was impressed. Their new cd came out this week, and this is the first single off it, 'Drivin' Down the Block'

Soon To Be Dope

coming soon
The Roots - Rising Up

Some (kinda) new material. Rising Down, the new album by the Roots, has been out for almost 2 weeks so this isnt as exclusive, but still, its my jam and this is my blog so I do what I want! This song instantly jumped into my top 5 Roots songs of all time the first time I heard it. The percussion is so tight and the way the song flows is perfect in my opinion. Something you can truly rock out too. Enjoy...

p.s. - lol at "so good rappers aint eatin they olson twinin"

1st Post

1st!

(i hate when people write that on posts! who cares if you're first!!!)

Yay Blogging! its like a journal everyone can read, but odds are barely anyone will read this anyways... haha. Basically, I have a ton of blogs bookmarked and like to look at them occasionally because they always post interesting stuff (to me at least). My goal with this blog is to just find stuff from anywhere and everywhere possible to post and just throw out some of my opinions about it. You're going to read about me hating on stuff (T-Pain, fake music, bad rap, etc), showing new technology, fashion, and just amazing ballin stuff that I cant afford but like anyways, as well as other stuff that I'm just trying to throw out there to blow it up.

Been working a lot and plan on working a lot so I dont have a lot of free time, but im gonna start puttin some stuff together for this. Got the day off for mothers day so hopefully I can get one up later today...
